Change it please…<—no no!!

The reality of restaurant area. Today in my ‘Restaurant business Operation’ class, my lecturer told us about complain on the food when dining at a restaurant. She said; NEVER EVER SEND BACK YOUR FOOD TO THE KITCHEN BACK. You can complain but don’t request for a new food, even if they offer new one , just say; NO THANKS..

 

She said, people who work in the kitchen are naughty (kind of bad..) Send back their food = insult their cooking..hurm.. something like that la. Then…she told us about her experience working at a restaurant/hotel  i couldn’t remember *stupid you memory fail* in US, this happen in front of her eyes..

there’s a guest ordered steak; medium cook. Ok.. his complain was; it’s not like what he wanted. So the server bring back to the kitchen;

‘sorry chef, he don’t want this…bla3’

what happen next, the chef took the steak, throw it on the floor and step on it. Take it back and put it on a new plate and present back to that customer.

The best part of it, the guest give them an ‘OK’ sign. eeww..

don’t think this not happen in Malaysia, she said another experience in Malaysia; the cook who prepared a soup spat into the soup after he got complain and serve it back to the guest. poor the guests…

It’s scared me. Oh Yeah.. i wont request to change my food ever…(erm.. i think i never did that b4.. thx god^^)
